Justin Billodeau

Principal

Justin Billodeau, P.E., is a founding principal of the firm and has provided engineering services for a wide variety of projects across the United States. His experience includes the design of animal care facilities, parking garages, auto service centers, custom residential, civil / site structures, and historic preservation with expertise in retail centers, warehouses, and office buildings. Justin’s career has provided him with structural challenges including snow drift analysis, seismic and high wind detailing, and coastal design considerations. He has worked on new construction, additions, remodels, and rehabilitation of existing structures.

Justin believes commitment to providing clients with constant interaction during all stages of design and construction is a key to delivering the most efficient solution to the project owner. His strong work ethic and personal commitment help assure that projects are completed when promised and are of the highest quality.

Justin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.  He is currently an active member of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) and the Austin Chapter of Structural Engineers Association of Texas (SEAoT).  He holds a council record with the National Council of Examiners for Engineering & Surveying (NCEES) and is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.  He is also qualified to perform wind and hailstorm inspections for the Texas Department of Insurance.

Brad Farris

Principal

As a founding partner of Arch Consulting Engineers, Mr. Brad Farris, P.E., is involved in all aspects of the firm’s operations. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, Brad worked for an Austin-based structural engineering firm for six years. During this time he gained extensive experience in the design of custom residential and multi-family housing, retail centers, medical centers, churches, animal care facilities, auto service centers, civil /site structures, and historic preservation. He has worked on new construction, additions, remodels, and structural analysis and rehabilitation of existing structures. The variety of projects has allowed him to obtain a broad background in the design of structural steel, reinforced concrete, structural masonry, complex wood structures, and insulating concrete form systems (ICFs).

Brad’s progressive ideas, open-minded attitude, and team oriented approach allow him to work well with all members of the design and construction teams throughout all stages of the project. His enthusiasm and attention to detail begin at the design development stage and continue through the completion of construction. He realizes that complete satisfaction from all his clients is the key to success. 

Brad is currently an active member of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), the American Forest and Paper Association’s American Wood Council (AWC) and the Austin Chapter of the Structural Engineers Association of Texas (SEAoT).  Brad is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
